The best season for doing Rinjani Trekking is April through December every years. Mount Rinjani National Park closes from January to March due to heavy rains during the monsoon season. No, they don’t. The porters provided are responsible for carrying all logistical equipment for the trek program only. If you wish, you are more than welcome to pay extra for an extra porter to carry your extra luggage. The cost of having an extra porter to carry your luggage is USD $18 or IDR 250.000/ per day.
